Play the course
Castlemaine Golf Club offers 18 holes of relaxed country golf set among the natural bushland of Central Victoria’s goldfields.

The par 72 course features gentle, undulating terrain and tree-lined fairways that reward accuracy and thoughtful play. With no bunkers and generous walking access, it is enjoyable for beginners while still offering enough challenge to test experienced golfers. Several holes bring water and elevation into play, creating variety throughout the round, particularly through the demanding “Devil’s Triangle” closing stretch.
Set within native bushland, the course is home to kangaroos and abundant birdlife. Greens are maintained year-round using recycled water, ensuring consistent playing conditions in all seasons.
